Day 1 Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, where your Hoza Safari private guide will greet you. Take the rest of the day to relax, restore, and enjoy your first taste of Africa after arriving at your first luxury lodge in Arusha. Your personal safari guide knows everything there is to know about Tanzania, from the culture to the national parks.
You are in charge of your vacation on this exclusive private safari. Decide when you’d like to go on your morning and afternoon game drives with your guide, and tell him or her which animals or sights you’re most excited to see.
Day 2 Tarangire National Park
The Tarangire has the world’s highest concentration of wild elephants, making for unbeatable elephant sightings. Around the Tarangire River, herds of up to 300 elephants can be seen drinking from the shallows or taking a refreshing mud bath. Aside from elephants, Tarangire is a birder’s paradise. Lions, leopards, cheetahs, and even tree-climbing pythons can be found in the area surrounding these swamps. Tarangire National Park is a fascinating place to visit.
Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater
This crater volcano is one of Tanzania’s most popular tourist attractions, and
it’s easy to see why. The crater, which is one of Africa’s seven natural
wonders, is home to Africa’s highest concentration of wildlife, including
elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and even the rare black rhino. Explore the
unique landscape in the safety and comfort of your own private safari vehicle,
and get a taste of nature at its best.
Aside from game drives, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area offers a variety of
Tanzanian activities, including visits to traditional Maasai villages. The
Laetoli Footprint, estimated to be 3.6 million years old, is the oldest known
footprint of early humans. Interested? Here’s where you can learn more about
